German intensive courses at CASA - professional language teaching

Our intensive courses for German comprise 20 teaching hours per week and are aimed at professionals.

We work in small groups with the objetive of training all basic skills: listening, reading, writing, while putting an emphasis on speaking.

Our students work through each level with carefully-chosen course books, to which we add our own creative teaching materials, which keep the lessons relevant, exciting and stimulating. Essay writing is also an important part of our teaching philosophy and our teachers dedicate time and effort to the correction of your papers, as well as to following your evolution along the course. Our objective is to focus on the needs of each one of our students.

The courses take place  all year round and strictly follow the European Common Reference for Languages. Within one year you can go through all levels from A1 to C1 and thus prepare either for admission at a German university or for a successful job application in the German employment market.

The courses for the A1 and A2 levels are 8-weeks long each, those for B1 and B2 are 12-weeks long each, while the C1 course is again 8-weeks long. Each course we offer amounts to 20 teaching hours a week.

Course dates

Every 4 weeks (which means 12 times a year) we open new intensive courses at all levels from A1 to C1 (Dates and prices).

Students without prior knowledge of German must start with an A1 course and it is not possible to begin at a later date.

Students with prior knowledge are welcome to join a running course anytime.

It is in your own best interest to take a level test prior to registration, in order to make sure you have chosen the right course for your level (in a lower level you would be underchallenged, while a higher one would be too fast and difficult). You can find our link to the level tests here (Level tests).
